Turn your SLR into a solar telescope with Quark's H-alpha filter.
In H-alpha light at a wavelength of 656 nanometers, the astronomers observe prominences, filaments, spicules, flares and the sun's active chromosphere . With the H-alpha filter CAMERA QUARK you can document these spectacular phenomena of the sun directly photographically. With a zoom lens, by changing the focal length, you can photograph the chromosphere in detail or take an overall picture of the sun.
The CAMERA QUARK filter is simply mounted between the camera lens and the camera body. It is equipped with the appropriate bayonet for this purpose. A 4.2x teleconverter lens is integrated in the CAMERA QUARK, optimized for H-alpha. It ensures a flat field of view.
As with every filter in the QUARK series, the etalon element in this model is also regulated by a heater. You therefore need an external voltage source with a mini-USB connection.
