SPECTRAL Adapter spacer for filter type SA100 S/C for Schmidt - Cassegrain telescope
This adapter allows you to make two important adjustments when using a Star Analyser diffraction grating:
1. Rotate the Star Analyser in place: the ideal orientation of the spectrum on your sensor chip is exactly horizontal. The yields the best spectra because it eliminates the need to later rotate your spectrum using software (which can introduce artifacts).
2. Change the adapter distance from the sensor: by adjusting the distance between the Star Analyser and your sensor, you can change the length of the spectrum that is projected on the sensor. This allows you to maximize the spectrum to take full advantage of your chip size without overflowing off the chip. The result is higher resolution spectra.
Our spectral adapter can be increase the sensor distance up to 34 mm. You can easily add T2 extensions. See article 3037.

The software, CCD and the Star Analyser filter are not included and must be purchased separately.
